Soccer Is For Everyone
Financial Assistance Program
The
Iberia Soccer Association strives to foster, promote and develop the great sport of soccer in our community.
Since our inception in June of 2000, ISA has become the largest soccer organization in Iberia Parish with over 850 youth players participating in our fall 2007 soccer season.
Soccer is the fastest growing sport in the
United States and we have seen tremendous growth and success with our local recreation and high school soccer programs in Iberia Parish.
The
Iberia Soccer Association wants to make every effort to provide opportunities for all of our area youth to participate in our local youth soccer league.
Understanding that many of our area youth may not participate due to financial limitations or economic hardship, the
Iberia Soccer Association has established the “Soccer Is For Everyone” assistance program.
This program establishes a designated fund within
Iberia Soccer Association whereby individuals, businesses and municipal/parish government will be provided the opportunity to sponsor a player or donate funding to help cover the registration fees of qualifying applicants.
The guidelines necessary to determine financial need have been determined by the ISA board of directors and each application for assistance must be reviewed and approved by the board of directors to authorize the release of funding to cover an applicant’s registration costs.
In addition to meeting specific requirements related to financial need, the applicant must be an Iberia Parish resident.
Through this program,
Iberia Soccer Association wants to assure the children in our community that “Soccer Is For Everyone” and help give all of our area youth the opportunity to participate in and enjoy the great sport of soccer.

Application Guidelines
1.
T
he application period for the “Soccer Is For Everyone” program will coincide with the registration period established by
Iberia Soccer Association for its Annual Registration Period, Spring Registration Period and/or Summer Registration Period.
2.
A completed “Soccer Is For Everyone” financial assistance application form must be submitted with all required information to be considered for financial assistance through this program.
3.
The financial assistance provided will be limited to the total amount of the
Iberia Soccer Association’s registration fee for any given registration period.
4.
Financial assistance provided by the “Soccer Is For Everyone” program will be based on the following criteria:
Financial assistance may be provided to those families with an annual household income equal to or less than $20,000 or to those families whose annual household income is equal to or less than $5,000 per household member whichever is greater.

Iberia Soccer Association registration period.
6.
Applying for financial assistance to
Iberia Soccer Association through the “Soccer Is For Everyone” program does not guarantee that such assistance will be granted and that financial assistance will only be granted based on the availability of funds and the eligibility of the applicant.
