ISA IS NOW REGISTERING U4 PLAYERS!!
HERE IS SOME INFORMATION ON HOW THE U4 LEAGUE WILL BE STRUCTURED:
These players will be placed in a pool and not on teams. The pools typically meet once a week to perform soccer-related activities that are part of the US Soccer National Youth License curriculum as well as US Youth Soccer's Youth Module 1. This program is an introduction for these young players to the game of soccer and they should only be playing for 45 minutes to 1 hour per week. At some point during the session players will be divided into groups for scrimmages (practice games). Cost of registration for U4 players will be $50 and this price includes a uniform (jersey, shorts and socks). Each player will be required to have shin guards and their own ball (size 3). Soccer cleats are not required but can be worn. PLAYERS WILL MEET ON SATURDAYS AT THE PEPPERPLEX AND EACH PLAYER MUST HAVE AN ADULT WITH THEM FOR THE ENTIRE SESSION. ACADEMY INFORMATION !!
ISA is starting an Academy program for 7, 8, 9 and 10 year olds! The Academy will provide extra specific skill training for ISA registered players on selected Friday nights from 6 to 7:30 pm at the PepperPlex.
Fall dates: August 23, 30 and September 6, 13, 20 and 27. Spring dates: April 4, 11, 18 and 25. Cost is $100 per player for Fall/Spring. ISA welcomes Glen Gary to our volunteer staff as Academy Director. His qualifications include: "D" and "E" licenses and is the ISA U15 Rebels state champions head coach.

JULY 8th - 12th
The Iberia Soccer Association is pleased to announce a
year of partnership with Challenger Sports, providers of the USA’s most popular soccer camp, to host the week long British Soccer camp during the week of 8th to 12th of July 2013 at Louisiana Pepperplex Sports Complex, 607 Sucrose Rd, New Iberia.
The camp will run Monday through Friday and each child will be coached by a member of Challenger’s British coaching staff flown to the USA exclusively to work on these programs. Challenger will hold over 4,000 British Soccer Camps this summer and will coach over 130,000 players between the ages of 3 and 18, as well as completing FREE coach education clinics for over 35,000 parents and coaches. Challenger’s British Soccer Camp is more than a week of drills and skills. In addition to taking part in a daily regimen of foot skill development (through the 1,000 touches curriculum), technical and tactical practices and daily ‘World Cup’ tournament style plays, each child will be treated to a rich cultural
experience and lessons on respect, responsibility, integrity, leadership and sportsmanship.
Each camper will receive a FREE camp T-shirt, soccer ball, soccer poster, individual skills performance evaluation and free access to an educational soccer website. In addition, any child who signs up online at least 45 days prior to camp will receive a genuine British Soccer replica Jersey valued at $39.
